Marisa Denton is a Las Vegas native and holds a BSBA in Marketing and a M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction. Mrs. Denton has been a high school teacher for the past 5 years, teaching accounting, finance, marketing, and management classes. She also advises Career and Technical Student Organizations such as DECA and Skills USA. Throughout her teaching experience, Mrs. Denton created the What’s My Balance?™ financial board game, which is currently used in her classrooms. She has worked to gamify concepts in mathematics and personal finance to drive student engagement. What’s My Balance?™ is available for online gameplay.
